In this essay the author will seek to: understand Bible-anchored apologetics as a valuable strategy for Christian witness; examine the approach used by New Testament authors in explaining and defending core Christian beliefs; outline the biblical mandate and method for doing apologetics, while acknowledging its limits; review and evaluate Adventist involvement in apologetics; and propose an agenda for the future.
