Escaping Tunnel Vision - Wider Horizons in Strategic Planning
In this article, the author examines vision-oriented strategic planning. He presents the classical view of strategic planning and the ideal vision. He discusses macroplanning and how to identify and define an ideal vision. Based on the ideal vision, strategic goals are proposed at the macro and microlevels. It is the ideal vision that defines the mission and goals of and organization.
