Trial or Trail? The Path to Redemptive Discipline
We encounter a variety of challenges along many of life's paths. Whether or not we reach our destination may be determined by the way in which we view these trials. One of the most difficult of all the paths of experience seems to be that of discipline. This article attempts to provide a signpost that points the way toward a Christian view of discipline. Five perspectives of discipline are discussed: authoritarian, permissive, bombastic, democratic, and redemptive discipline.
