Adventist Colleges Abroad - A Well-Kept Secret in Adventist Education
Communication skills, including foreign-language and cross-cultural competence, need to be a part
of any serious curriculum, both in K-12 and in higher education. Adventist Colleges Abroad (ACA) provides one such tool to help young people acquire crosscultural, multilingual skills. The author provides a brief history of ACA, discusses its impact, and presents its programs in this article from a JAE special issue on higher education.
