Little House on the Prairie Social Studies Unit

This unit helps students learn about early American history, contrasting it to life today. Focusing on the Midwest region of the United States, students explore pioneer life, culture and customs for both the pioneers and Native Americans. This 3-week unit was developed to use along with a reading unit based on Wilder's Little House on the Prairie book.
