Essential Counseling Skills for a Principal

In addition to many other responsibilities, a principal must learn to become an effective counselor in order to mediate between the many relationships that exist within a school. A principal can "attend to students’ needs, listen to parents’ concerns, and show empathy for those in their care, and thereby enhance their effectiveness as they follow Jesus' example."
