Why Principals Stay
Learn why principals stay within the Adventist system despite the difficulties that may exist. Researcher Janet Ledesma focuses on those principals in Adventist education who have served for at least ten consecutive years. Her study concludes that for those who stay within the system, an underlying passion for the students, a commitment to God’s calling, a passion for ministry, and a passion to serve others have provided these principals with a resilience that has proven to be stronger than adversity.
