This Go Math aligned unit introduces students to the value of money. It "helps them understand the basic concepts of money using addition, subtraction, shopping, sales, percentages off, basic checkbook keeping, very basic budgeting, etc. This unit is designed to take about 2 weeks, but could easily be expanded to take a month or so with a few additional activities and extra practice."
