The Human Body - Organization and Systems Unit
"In this unit, we will explore the main systems of the human body, the organs that belong to those systems, and the functions of each. This unit was designed based on the NAD curriculum for 6th grade science, but may easily be adapted to middle school and high school Biology, Life Science, and Health courses. This unit was designed to be successful with both a teacher-centered or student-centered approach... The approach taken by the teacher would be dependent on the school setting (one room, multi-grade, straight grade, etc). It may take 10–15 class periods to complete all lessons, projects, and assignments." Files include PowerPoints, video clips, worksheets, quizzes, WebQuests, and a devotional exercise.
