Adventists, Drugs, and a Changing Church

This article is based on a survey of alcohol use among adult Adventists (18 and older). The survey yielded a response from 2,319 respondents within the United States. The study examined church members' attitudes towards alcohol and drug abuse, their use of these substances over time, and the lifestyle practices of those who use alcohol and drugs, and the effects of alcohol and drug abuse by others on family and friends.
