Insurance 101 - Is Your Campus Properly Insured?
Insurance coverage is required by the General Conference Working Policy and should be handled by the treasurer at the union, conference, or mission level. School administrators should carefully review policies to understand their responsibilities and the scope and limits of protection. The authors provide specifics of necessary coverage and additional available insurance. Types of risks are explained as well as the importance of timely reporting of losses.
