Practical Math - What Do Debt, AIDS, and Quilts Have in Common
The author provides practical life applications for math class at various levels, including “debt management, HIV/AIDS, interpreting statistics accurately, and understanding investing.” These and other math-related issues “are important for improving human life and even possibly for continuing our existence.
