This one-part continuing education course explores the role of hermeneutics in shaping an understanding of the Bible and the writings of Ellen G. White, and also provides the rationale, objective rules, and appropriate times to apply hermeneutical practices. Other sub-topics in this study include: The Need for Hermeneutics, Rules for Hermeneutics, and an Integrated Model for Hermeneutical Application. This article can be studied for continuing education credit in the North American Division of Seventh-day Adventists.
