Perceptions of Leaders Regarding Childrens Ministry Curriculum Materials

This paper reports a research on perceptions of leaders regarding Children's Ministry Curriculum Materials. Its purpose was to document general feelings and perceptions of leaders toward the current Sabbath School program and lesson materials produced by the church, to document general feelings and perceptions of leaders toward curriculum materials produce by non-Adventist publishers, to identify specific elements of available curriculum materials that generate strong positive and/or negative feelings, and to profile by department leaders feelings toward specific elements that should be kept, eliminated, changed or strengthened in the event a new curriculum is developed. Focus groups were conducted.
