Building Community Volunteerism Among Seventh-day Adventist Church Members in Small Towns of North America

Seventh-day Adventists tend to separate themselves from the worldly and secular, which often means separating themselves from people who do not hold Christian beliefs and values. According to the author, the purpose of this project is to deal with issues and methods for the development of a "salt-style" ministry in the secular society of North America. The paper seeks to encourage and empower individual members of the Adventist church to mingle in their non-Adventist and non-Christian community.
