Building Community Out of Diversity

This article confronts the need for teachers and administrators to embrace and plan for diversity training in their school curricula. The author states that as a core part of God's design, diversity should lead to unity, not mere co-existence. Additional issues discussed include the following: Identifying the Issues; Exploring the Core of Diversity; Communication; Time; Individuality; Egalitarian Versus Hierarchical; Locus of Control; Confrontation Versus Harmony; Task Orientation Versus Relationships; Content Versus Context.
