The Mind Body Connection - Practical Applications for Brain Based Learning
Campbell notes that while research on brain based learning supports concepts presented by Ellen White, a limited understanding of what brain research actually means for education still exists. The article explores the strong connection between learning and physical health. Also discussed are how water, air, exercise, rest, abstemiousness, diet, and trust in divine power help create the balance needed for optimum brain function. A short discussion is given on implications for teachers.
