Worth the Effort - Applying Brain Research in Kindergarten
To alleviate first days of school stress, Julie Westlake provided her students with a positive learning environment that was free of threats and stress, allowed student choice, and created a physical environment that allowed her students to excel in arts and physical activity. In addition, she employed a variety of teaching strategies that not only challenged her students, but also gave them the opportunity to give feedback.
