When Bad Things Happen to Good Schools

Whether responding to a natural disaster or an incident of personnel misconduct, each school needs a Crisis Communication Plan that offers immediate and direct communication with parents, church, community, and the news media. During times of distress, members of a community need to know that the situation is under control.
