Student Governance - Purpose and Practice

This article explores historical and Adventist views on student governance on college campuses. The advantages and disadvantages of student governance are discussed, along with Ellen White's comments on cooperation in the classroom and giving true choices to students. From students serving on committees to students not understanding the complex structure of committees and misusing membership to deal with authority problems, the author is are very direct in his position, noting that adults on these committees often do the same things!
