A Phonics Patchwork

This article follows a new teacher's discoveries of how to teach phonics in a fun and exciting way. Utilizing many different sources, she divided the consonants into 'good guys' and 'bad guys,' taught vowel sounds through chants and songs, as well as sight word families and the basics of decoding.
