Making the Bible Relevant for the Moral Life

John Brunt explores two emerging cultures within the Adventist church: those who read the Bible because they feel it's the right thing to do, and those who have difficulty relating the Bible to their everyday lives. He suggests that using the Bible as a reference book without application to real life is comparative to talking about real life without talking about the Bible. Topics covered include: The Bible as a Reference Book; The Bible as a Revelation of God's Character; The Bible as an Instructions Manual; The Bible as a Source of Christian Reflection.
