Beyond Cooperative Learning: Building a Learning Community

This article from the special JAE issue on cooperative learning states that a classroom needs to become a Christian learning community where students are involved together in learning and developing character. The author shares how this can be achieved by presenting several examples and suggestions from his own classroom experience. Included in the discussion is how Glasser's model for ensuring survival, belonging, power/self-esteem, freedom, and fun can be applied to the Christian community.
