Mentoring New Teachers
This article from the special JAE issue on staff development discusses mentoring. Two actual cases of mentoring are discussed throughout the article. Superintendents and administrators must provide training for mentors and pre-service educators who deal with student teachers so that they may effectively meet the needs of the new teachers.
