We Diluted Education and Called It Special
In this article the authors discuss special education's unintended results. Everyone needs an education that is 'special', and standardized tests don't tell the whole story. Gradually, it is becoming clear that inclusion is the best solution, because students work best when they are motivated and working to achieve skills.
