Taking Charge of Change

This article from the technology issue of JAE discusses how Virgil Hauselt Memorial Christian School changed from an average junior academy to a model tech school in California. This article includes insights on how to deal with change, such as assessing the whole curriculum, realizing that technology is not a cure-all, and being open to change. The author notes that while principals are the most important change agents in a school, educational change will not succeed without preparation and teacher training. The faculty and staff must work with available resources and not become overwhelmed or discouraged.
