AE21 Distributed Education: Distance Learning With a Personal Twist
Adventist Education for the 21st Century (AE21) Distributed Education provides a uniquely Adventist distance learning program to Adventist schools across the United States. The program is technology rich, innovative, creative, affordable, distinctly Adventist, and service oriented in its approach to educating students. In this article, Shelley Bacon shares a typical AE21 school day and shows how teachers and students interact and function using this educational method. A side bar explaining the historical background to AE21 is also included.
