How to Make Trust Services a Contributing Partner in Your School

Description:
Jeffrey Wilson shares how schools can benefit from the trust services departments of the next highest organization in their structure, whether a conference, mission, union, or division. After the tragic loss of their daughter, Wilson and his wife made the decision to develop an endowment fund in memory of their daughter. He challenges administrators to consider ways of encouraging donors to partner in school improvement through capital improvements, worthy student endowment funds, and endowed chairs. Also shared are nine short principles for obtaining major planned gifts from alumni, parents, church, and community.
