Technology and the Secondary Curriculum
This article from the JAE special technology and education issue examines how secondary teachers can help students become technologically literate by integrating technology into the subjects currently being taught. Suggestions for integrating technology into English, social studies, Bible, and math and science classes. A detailed example of how technology can be incorporated into industrial arts programs and the 1984 Illinois State Curriculum Guide for ninth and tenth grade is outlined. Safety education is an important part of technological training.
