The Hidden Menace - Health Hazards in Our Schools
In order to protect students and employees from health hazards, school boards and administrators must be aware of the dangers and then be prepared to take action when they occur. Health hazards include unsafe drinking water, schools constructed on or near hazardous waste sites, urea formaldehyde foam insulation and formaldehyde, asbestos and other airborne hazards, radon gas, school laboratories, lead, and PCBs.
