Should There Be Two Entry Levels Into Nursing?
This article from the JAE special higher education issue presents the opposing views of two nursing educators on whether there should be two entry levels into nursing. They discuss the plan endorsed by the American Nurses' Association, under which four-year program graduates would continue to be licensed as R.N.'s if they passed the licensing exams, but two-year graduates would take a different test and would be licensed as techical nurses.
