Finding the Harmony Between Faith and Science in College Classes
This article from the JAE special science issue deals with integrating science and religion in a Christian college. This is not only intellectually stimulating but spiritually satisfying. Knowledge gained must relate to life, especially in the biological and physical sciences which have traditionally been in conflict with religion. Creation is the cornerstone on which all Christian belief rests. A major responsibility of the Christian teacher is to help students distinguish between fact and assumption. Evidence must be re-examined. A progressive sequence model and the Flood model provide explanation for the discontinuity of the fossil record.
