How to help students celebrate and understand the Constitution. 1987, the Bicentennial of the Philadelphia Convention, offers a long-term civics lesson. Commercialization, prophetic interpretation, and lack of a bill of rights are deterrents to Bicentennial festivities. Responses to these are given. Twelve questions are listed for teachers to ask their students to help them celebrate the Bicennential and to become informed citizens.
