Turning Students on to Community Service

Every student should take from his/her school experience a solid grasp of academics and a desire to give something back to society. Volunteering changes students and helps them grasp that altruism brings its own rewards. It enables the student to see the connection between what is learned and how to live. The needs of the community should also be the focus of Adventist Christians. Study should be given to the kinds of help that the community needs. Student insurance is important.
