Physical Education, Sports and Christian Outreach
Is there a place for fitness and sports in the Adventist concept of balanced education? Physical development should form one side of the equilateral triangle of true education. A person's play life is as important as any other part of his or her life. Five benefits of fitness are listed and aspects of organization and planning for a successful physical education and fitness program that should be considered. Physical education programs and classes provide opportunities for students to witness to the community about Christian life-styles. Ideas for outreach are given.
