Rigorous and Relevant Learning for the 21st Century
The 2000-2005 Education Report from the Southern Africa-Indian Ocean Division (SID) presented at the Adventist General Conference Session. Based on surveys and an education summit, the following are goals for SDA education in SID: students will develop a life of faith and commitment; students will acquire basic skills; schools will employ high-quality teachers; schools buildings and environment will be upgraded and modernized; and, the three r's and more will be taught.
