WAD: Visual Aids

Visual aids improve teaching. Jesus, the master teacher, frequently used objects from Judean agricultural life to illustrate His teachings. Examples of common objects that can be used to illustrate your teaching are suggested. The advantages and disadvantages of using common objects as visual aids are listed. Flannelgraphs, hook and loop boards, flip charts, puppets, filmstrips, slides, and films and videos are visual aids discussed as well as their advantages and disadvantages. Principles of visual aid effectiveness are presented.
