JAE Editorial: Pathways to Excellence

Guest editor Erma Lee describes the new reading program for the North American Division. Pathways: Journey to Excellence Through Literacy is a reading program adapted from the Kendall/Hunt Publishing Company's core program and developed specifically for Adventist schools. The series uses quality literature to develop cross-curricular themes that explore the many aspects of curriculum. It provides a comprehensive instructional program, includes a management system that uses a variety of formal and informal assessments, and provides instructors with many teaching tools and strategies to use in other areas of the curriculum.
