Adventist Heritage: Required or Optional?

This article focuses on mandating Adventist heritage education on the tertiary level as the first step in solving the problem of ignorance of Adventist students concerning the history of Adventism. The author examines why Adventist history should be taught, why it should be a college-level course, and what such a course should look like. The course should provide each student with a solid introduction to the distinctly Adventist worldview. It will help them to understand Adventist heritage while sharpening their identity as Seventh-day Adventists.
