How to Liven Lethal Lectures

If you have decided that lecture is the best mode of presentation for your topic, then include interactive components to build background, create interest, and enhance the listening process of students to help ensure student success. Lectures must be more than one-way communication from teacher to student. Setting the stage, keeping atmosphere, tie-ins to previous learning, text reading preparation, and introducing the textbook are discussed.
