Taking Off the Training Wheels
Those responsible for delivering college and university education must determine the best way to structure the institution's academic environment to fulfill the mission of Adventist higher education. The authors review Kohlberg's theory of moral development and Ellen White's counsel on moral and personal development, using the metaphor of learning to ride a bike to challenge Adventist educators to facilitate student growth into the Postconventional stage.
