Caring for the Care-givers - Health Promotion for Nursing Students

Sczekan discusses the nursing profession and how nurse educators can better prepare nursing students to be prepared for the stresses of the profession. Sczekan concludes "Within the context of Christian education and values, nursing faculty in Adventist institutions have a special obligation to prepare students not only with the necessary intellectual and practice abilities but also to assist students in developing inner strengths or coping with the demands of a challenging profession." This paper was presented at the 1st Institute of Christian Teaching.
