Music in Seventh-day Adventist Higher Education - A Rationale
Stearman examines the rational for including music, especially as a field of major emphasis, in the curriculum of Seventh-day Adventist colleges and universities. "This paper is a call to ... reevaluate our position on this important curricular area in order to clarify our own thinking and encourage new thought and investigation, not mere blind acceptance of the traditional Adventist stance with which we have lived for years."
This paper was presented at the 7th Institute of Christian Teaching.
