We saw the picture of a bigger-than-life character and thought, “Wow! I could never be like him.” But a mature reading of the Bible narrative helps us see Moses in a more realistic light. It is this picture, while not downplaying the impact he made on world history and salvation history, that gives me hope and courage and faith."
