Service Learning Moves Nursing to the Frontiers of Community
The Union College Nursing Program instructors believe that service learning will:
(1) enrich students’ learning experience at college while motivating them to better appreciate their civic responsibilities and Christian discipleship experience;
(2) help students model the professional values of their calling; and
(3) strengthen the communities with which the students interact through service.
