Adventist Education in the 21st Century

Trenchard proposes that Adventist higher education has historically been biblical, complete, comprehensive, critical, essential, futuristic, inclusive, international, legitimate, progressive, serving and superior. Discussing each of these traits and how they relate to the role of Adventist education today, he proposes that if all 12 traits are retained, Adventist higher education will be relevant and significant; if not, it will be sectarian an marginal.

The paper was presented at the Adventist Education Summit at La Sierra University, October 2010.
