Special Education Metaphor No. 1: Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs

In this article, William Crawford retells the imaginary story of Snow White (the teacher) who is sent to teach the seven dwarves. Each dwarf represents a different 'problem' in the classroom, from the one who sleeps over his work to the one who grumbles under his breath to the one who suffers from hay fever. This article presents a metaphoric look at how teachers can address special needs.
